"Thar"
Thar
(Ryan Guerreo), also known as "Star Child",
is the Speakeasy Boy's main guitarist and lead vocalist.
Thar's playing is always first class and he has
the uncanny ability to improvise quality lyrics
on-the-spot.

"Chief
Red Salsa of the Chipotle Indian Tribe"
Chief
Red Salsa (Nathan Webb), also known as "Shockra",
is the Speakeasy Boy's other guitarist and lead
vocalist. Nathan's strong native rhythms add drive
to the Speakeasy Boy's sound and his singing is
quite powerful.

"Jeb"
Jeb
(Jesse Shultzaberger) is the Speakeasy Boy's banjo
player, backup vocalist, and tin-can percussionist.
Specializing in the Packhorse Ford hobo banjo style,
his uniquely original claw-hammer-like style can
skin more cats than one. In addition to banjo, Jeb
also plays a home-made tin can drum contraption,
affectionately named Jeb Jr., which is always a
crowd pleaser.

"Mando
Matt"
Mando
Matt Robinson, also known as "Nitro",
is the Speakeasy Boy's mandolin player and backup
vocalist. Matt enjoys rocking out tight jams and
laying down hot licks. His sound adds a bit of flare
to the music.

"Schmied"
Scott
Schmied, also known as "Thumper", is the
Speakeasy Boy's washtub bass player and backup vocalist.
Scott uses only one string, the G string, which
he has been known to pop on occasion. The deep thump
of his washtub adds a strong backdrop for the rest
of the band and his high-pitched backup vocals are
reminscent of old, Appalachian mountain music.

Robbie
"The Wizard"
Rob
"the Wizard" Carruthers is the Speakeasy
Boy's fiddle player and backup vocalist. Being an
old time player and an old timer himself, he brings
a magic authenticity to the group. Robbie's playing
is always smooth and lonesome.

"Shoeless"
Gail
Shoeless
Gail Parker is the Speakeasy Boy's harmonica player
and backup vocalist. Specializing in the blues,
Gail is also a master of old-time country harp.
There's nothing he likes to do more than blow his
harp. When he can, Gail likes to wail away with
the Speakeasy Boys.

"Evil"
Evil
(Todd Cotgreave) is the Speakeasy Boy's saw, washboard,
and kazu player. Often playing in a wheelchair (because
of a mental handicap) with a saw in his lap and
a kazu in his mouth, Todd knows how to make sounds
that will have all the dogs in town howling. He
also has an amazing knowledge of explosives and
has "safely" sent many a weener dog across
the Potomac River using a hand built mortar.
